Would You Consider Parenting?

No matter how many books someone reads or podcasts they listen to, no one is ever completely ready to be a parent. Every situation, just like every child, is unique.

Are you considering parenting? If so, you may have more questions than answers.

Do I Have What It Takes to Be A Parent?

Are you asking yourself any of the following questions?

  • Will I have the support of my partner or my parents?
  • Where will we live?
  • Can I finish school?
  • How will I continue working?
  • How do I get medical insurance?
  • Am I too young to parent?

These are legitimate concerns. We’ve talked with hundreds of clients who have asked the same things.

Getting the Answers You Need

Sometimes, sitting down and talking through your situation is the best way to find a solution. One of our caring consultants can discuss these issues with you to see if parenting is the right choice for you.

Parenting in School

Whether in college or high school, you can still be pregnant and choose to parent. A federal law called Title IX protects you. The law requires schools to allow you to continue participating in classes and extracurricular activities, including sports.

Schools must excuse absences due to pregnancy or childbirth and allow you the opportunity to make up any work missed.
